One of my goals for 2015 is to extend the "buy it for life" philosophy that I love so much about fountain pens to other aspects of my life.
My first opportunity to apply this is in replacing my junky, maddening pair of desk scissors.
I'm still doing my research, but I stumbled upon this amazing video of Cliff Denton, a "putter" at Ernest Wright and Son Limited. They've been making scissors and shears by hand in Sheffield, England since 1902.
