Speaking of SpaceX, they posted an amazing video montage on YouTube of their many failures and more recent successes. They put a humorous and self-effacing spin on it, but you can bet that each one of those spectacular mishaps was many long hours of groundbreaking work followed by complete and utter heartbreak.
